About Cats Collective
Cats Collective is an Amsterdam based jazz collective with songs and style influenced by traditional American Songbook and upbeat Motown soul. Their goal is to bring back quality and class to vocal jazz, reliving the days of Sinatra, Vaughan and Nat King Cole.
Cats Collective was founded by jazz singer and songwriter Pepijn de Wit (1991), who has been singing jazz since the age of fourteen. With his deep, warm voice he has been named the next Bublé, but his ultimate goal is to write new songs that can stand the test of time, in the tradition of Gershwin and Van Heusen.
Together with bass player and arranger Camiel Jansen and jazz guitarist Luuk Janssen, they form a unique group of young professional musicians, ready to blend the modern music scene with traditional class and craftsmanship.
